Outline planning consent has now been granted for proposals to significantly redevelop and regenerate brownfield land off Moody Lane, Grimsby, adjacent to the Humber Estuary to provide approximately 98,000sqm of employment, storage and distribution facilities.
The proposals, which will provide a significant boost to the local economy, include the provision of a new link road delivering a through-route to Hobson Way to the west and connecting the site to the Immingham Industrial Area.
David Tucker Associates, who were commissioned by Humber Land (Grimsby) Unit Trust in March 2013 to advise on the proposals, provided the technical highways and transport input to support the planning application, which was agreed with Highways England and the Local Highway Authority.
Outline planning consent was also granted for a separate planning application by Humber Land (Grimsby) Unit Trust for approximately 9,000sqm of employment use on adjacent land, for which DTA also prepared and agreed the technical analysis.
