DTA have been providing highways advice to Richborough Estates on this site for 137 dwellings since 2011. A Transport Assessment and Travel Plan were prepared to support the application. Detailed discussions were held with the Local Highway Authority and Highways England regarding a new site access onto the strategic road network. No objections were raised by the Local Highway Authority and Highways England on highways grounds.
DTA were retained to represent Richborough Estates at appeal and appeared at the subsequent public inquiry in August and October 2016. We were pleased to receive the inspector’s decision in November 2016 where the appeal was allowed and planning permission was granted.
